Sean Robertson oversees Direct Response Sales for NBCU’s Small to Medium Business Growth division. His role focuses on connecting direct response and independent agencies to the full suite of cross-platform solutions available at NBCU Ad Sales.

Sean joined NBCUniversal in 2021 to serve as the Digital lead for the Direct-to-Sale team in the Advertising Sales division. Sean has held numerous sales and leadership roles at organizations including DISH Network, SiriusXM, Paramount, and Warner Media.

Sean has spent his professional life working towards the goal of a more diverse and inclusive media industry. He serves on the board of the International Radio and Television Society (IRTS), an organization that has spent 59 years supporting diversity in the media industry. Sean also served as one of the leaders in the NYC DISH Women’s Network (DWN) between 2016 and 2020. In March of 2020, Sean stepped into the role of Executive Sponsor of the DISH African American Network (AAN) where he helps to drive the organization's agenda at a corporate level and held this position until March of 2021.

Sean earned his Master of Business Administration at Brown University and IE Business School. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism with a focus in Advertising from West Virginia University. While at WVU, Sean leaned into his studies and invested in contributing to the richness of the university’s campus life. He joined the staff of the Daily Athenaeum in his sophomore year as creative production, joining the night production staff in the summer of prior to his junior year. He also served as an Account Executive in both his junior and senior years where he began his passion for media sales.

Sean lives in New Jersey with his wife Candice and sons Rafael and Brendan.
