Devin Hamner is an accomplished sales professional with over 9 years of experience in the tech industry. Originally from Bridgeport, WV, Devin graduated from West Virginia University in 2014 with a degree in International Studies, where he also served as a member of the Student Government Association and worked at the Daily Athenaeum throughout undergrad.

During his 4 years at the DA, Devin held positions as Senior Account Executive and Student Sales Manager. At the DA he learned essential skills in working an account book, generating revenue, objection handling, face-to-face meetings, and the core principles of Sales Management: recruiting, retention, and revenue. These experiences at the DA opened many doors after college and were instrumental in propelling his career in tech sales.

After graduating from WVU, Devin moved to San Francisco, where he started his career as a Business Development Representative at a small tech startup - Base CRM (acquired by Zendesk). Over the next three years, he worked his way up to Mid-Market Sales before transitioning to his current company, Samsara (NYSE:IOT), where he has been for over 6-years and is now an Enterprise Sales Manager responsible for leading a team and driving revenue growth.

Devin currently resides in Santa Barbara, California, with his wife and twin toddlers. In his free time, Devin enjoys playing a round of golf, spending time with his family, and traveling anywhere a double-wide stroller can go. Devin is grateful for his experiences at WVU and the DA, which taught him invaluable skills that continue to benefit him in his professional and personal life.
