WVU STUDENT MEDIA ALUMNI COMMITTEE MEMBER

Brandon is a 2010 graduate of the Reed College of Media and has worked in strategic communications, public relations, and integrated marketing for more than 13 years.

He currently serves as Executive Vice President at Freud Communications, a full-service PR and strategic communications agency that builds, protects, and enhances the reputations of clients through impactful storytelling.

Purpose-driven work is Brandon’s passion and for nearly 10 years, he has had the opportunity to lean into purpose-driven PR as a part of his client relations work. In addition to his work life, Brandon is a huge proponent of giving back and finding ways to serve apart from work. He has volunteered his time with organizations like PRSA-New York, the PR Council, Men of Color in Communications, and the Plank Center. Each spring semester, he also serves as a mentor for students in Chuck Harman’s Public Relations capstone course, providing professional advice and knowledge to students on how to work in an agency and interact with clients.

One of his favorite things to do in his spare time is to soak up New York City arts and culture, so you’ll likely find him checking out art exhibits at museums, seeing a Broadway show, or paying way too much for concert tickets to his favorite artists (it’s usually worth it.).
